  • 2019: Accredited member of the National Counselling Society MNCS (Accred)
  • 2018: ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) 
  • 2015: Registered member of the BACP (MBACP), British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists
  • 2015: Trained in The Rewind Technique for the treatment of PTSD (Dr David Muss)
  • 2015: MHFA (Mental Health First Aid)
  • 2012: Trained specifically in supporting people through loss and grief, including a Cruse Awareness in Bereavement care course.  
  • 2011 - 2013: Level  4 diploma in therapeutic counselling
  • 2010 - 2011: Level  2 Certificate in Counselling Skills 


I have been in private practice since 2014. For seven years I worked for Mind, initially as a volunteer and then for three years as Lead Counsellor (Health Board funded Community Counselling service) 

I have also worked as a Bereavement Support Volunteer for Cruse Bereavement Care. 


As a registered BACP & accredited NCS member I attend monthly supervision sessions to ensure a high level of ethical practice.


I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate & public liability insurance 


I attend regular training as part of my continual professional development
